Positive Solar Energy is a multifaceted company. We offer a wide range of HVAC and Solar services, with our main focus being Heat Pump installation.
Positive Solar Energy is comprised of both licensed and Apprentice technicians,
who are dedicated to their continued growth. It is through education , mentoring
that we are able to consistency provide our customers with quality installations,
and products.
Our Story
Derek and Joel are the founders and owners of Passive Solar Heating- specializing in HVAC and the solar industry. With 8 other team members, Passive Solar Heating is ready to take on your next project!
With certification in solar design and install we can provide the best quality service. We are also involved with Nabcet certification.
Our company is unique in that we go beyond the installation of heat pumps. Installing
solar arrays with EV charging, and battery systems, puts us in a unique position for
doing deep energy retrofits. We also install instant hot water heaters, which also
qualifies for grants.
In support of green initiatives the BC Government has launched a significant grant process. This has really heated up the market with a lot of interest.
As electricians we don't have to farm this out to another company. Each job requires
an electrical permit. Once our clients have made the investment many move onto
installing solar arrays. This is our market niche, as a result very few companies offer
this dual service. The Federal Government has just introduced $40,000 interest free loans.
We offer free consultations, where we can develop good relationship with our client.
We take the opportunity to educate each client, and fully answer their questions.
By examining their current system, we are able to coach them what is available.
Our service area includes places like Pitt meadows, Maple Ridge, Mission, Abbotsford
Chilliwack, and Fraser Valley.
